Garden Of Your Mind – Remix

I can’t say I watched Mr. Rogers when I was a kid.  I’m a bit older than that.   I do remember being a college student and sitting with my 5 year old brother as we watched and sang along.  It was a magical program for kids.  Now some clever person has taken the message of Fred Rogers and remixed it. Cool!

I’d like to dedicate this song to my little buddy, Grant, who spends much of his day in the garden of his mind.  What wonderful things will we see from him as he grows up?

Special thanks to Michaele Sommerville for sharing this. I added it to my Scoop.it as well.

    • Oh Michaele! Thank you so much for passing the Versatile Blogging award on to me. I will have to give it some thought and pass it along to some other great educator/bloggers.

  2. I was directed to your site via The Edublogger. What a super rendition of Mr. Rogers to find! My personal five and six year olds may love it. My eight year old grows things in the garden of his mind all the time but he might find this a little hokey for his eight year old coolness. 🙂 Great to see an example of Scoop. It! Maybe the ticket for this Special Education professional to keep access to info in one place! Thanks again!

    • I’m glad you posted this comment so I was able to listen to the remix once again. What a wonderful way to spend the final days of summer before facing my new class later this week. Fred Rogers was a perfect gem for young children as well as for parents/teachers seeking to better understand the mind of a child. I’m glad we can have him on syndication.
