Kindergarten website with access to newsletters, videos, slideshows, and links
The month of March is full of changes and excitement. The children play in the snow but each day the snow piles become smaller and smaller. Half way through the month we will see all of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities and parades. Along with this is the magic and adventure of leprechauns. We have enjoyed talking about how we would catch one and win his pot of gold.
Here is a VoiceThread presentation with the students trying a hand at reading their own text. Everyone is doing their best and should feel mighty proud of themselves.

Gail,
Great blog posts and use of Voicethread with your Kindergarten class. I saw your comment on Lee Kolbert’s blog and wanted to see how you did it with your class book and person of the week. My is in her first year as a Kindergarten teacher and I can’t wait to share all that you do. Thanks again, great job.

Mrs. Poulin,
I love anything leprechaun-ish and this is such a great idea. My kindergarten class does lots of St. Patrick’s Day activities, but your idea is fabulous. I hope to take the time to show this voice thread to my class and we could leave you comments. Thank you for taking the time to share such wonderful student learning with us.
