This Blog…
… is a reflection of what’s going on in our classroom from week to week. It’s main purpose is to serve as a communication tool between school and home. It’s also helpful as a way of keeping distant family members in touch with what’s going on here as well.
Other interested readers are teachers and classes from all over the world.
The blog is divided into several categories. You will find them listed in the left sidebar. The right sidebar brings you many other links related to our school, as well as some of our interests.
Slideshows and Videos may come in the form of Animoto, PhotoStory3, or Windows MovieMaker presentations. The images can often tell the story better than words.
Newsletters are sent home on a nearly weekly basis. You will find the latest one here and often enough there will be extra material included, as the internet presents the colors so beautifully.
Star of the Week Voice Threads are a regular offering. We will present one each week until all students have had their chance to be in the limelight. Speech and language are critical skills in kindergarten. These presentations encourage children to say their piece with more thought and reflection beforehand.
Class Books are created on a regular basis. From time to time, I will take pictures of the student pages and present them here.
